Jakarta Tax and Regional Retribution Agency has teamed up with Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate, to crack down on vehicle owners who are in arrears of motor vehicle tax (PKB).

According to Edi Sumantri, Head of Jakarta Tax and Regional Retribution Agency said the raid is held, because the number of delinquent taxpayers for PKB in Jakarta is pretty high.
Delinquent Taxpayers Have 10 Days to Pay Off"The number of delinquent taxpayers for PKB is reaching 3.2 million for motorcycle and 600 thousand for car," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (2/20).
Those who are in arrears more than three years, their vehicle will be impounded.
"But if it is only 1-2 years, we will impound the vehicle's document," he explained.
